High quality organic restaurant. Excellent food quality, excellent preparation, fine wine list, friendly family service, historic ambience. During the garden season picturesque dreamy terrace area. But always worth a visit.

Wonderful hotel with character. The wholesome vegetarian food is world class here. Here you can eat really well. Nice and always friendly hospitality with heart. I like to recommend it.

Good central location in Wachtendonk

Actually quite nice but one of our beds was a bit hard and the roof rooms in the second house are not for tall people: D

First no one on site ... then very hard beds ... almost no sleep ... but back pain ...

You get into the 'hotel' and it smells like organic bio that was not even schonmal! In the hall and in the rooms you have to be careful that you do not bump your head on the ceiling! There are no pillows and behind the beds everything was dusty! For breakfast you do not need to say so much..Aufbackbrötchen and otherwise only Biokram.

Cozy room, but room rate with 94 euros too steep. Extremely small TV, cheaper hair dryer, older bath towels, no shower gel. A somewhat dusty ambience. Breakfast with Aufbackbrötchen. Cheese and cold cuts very manageable.

Very personal hospitable hotel with nicely furnished rooms. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired, different Aufschnittsorten, numerous sweet spreads, also vegetarian, fresh fruit salad, juices, various breads. We felt very comfortable there with our dog at the beginning of August. Apart from the street, which was right under the window and in the evening and in the morning for restless, we could sleep well.

The ambience is unfortunately a bit dusty - the heating in the winter garden probably didn't work, so we were freezing all the time while eating. The menu is very clear and it was noticed that two dishes had been deleted. In addition, there was no fish dish on the menu. The time until the ordered food arrived was very long. When this came the disappointment followed - the bread served with the starters was very dry and, even if it was supposed to be walnut bread, didn't taste like walnut. In addition, the dishes were unfortunately not very lovingly arranged. This was also confirmed with the main courses. The buckwheat crepe with asparagus filling turned out to be a thin pancake with six pieces of asparagus and a thin, indefinable tasting sauce. The Parmesan cheese advertised on the menu was in fact not available. Without garnish and just slapped on the plate. And this dish for an outrageous € 15.80 - a cheek. This was probably the last time we were in the flat house.

We have eaten at Das Restaurant 6-7 times. The food was always excellent. The vegetables are always cooked exactly to the point. The cook is, I think, French. It reminds me of the movie "Babettes Fest".

One of the rare cases where I've been in bed and not having to worry about hygiene. You should keep in mind that you are dealing with a small family business here, here and there it may not be able to connect to large chains. But that doesn't mean it's bad, it makes things more comfortable. And in the restaurant I ate the most tender meat!
